Easter Weekend 2013

Friday before Easter we colored eggs. Brooklyn had to have all of her eggs pink. Bobby's blue. The kids had fun. We had about 16 eggs to color.  It was fun.

The Saturday before Easter me and the kids along with my brother and his kids spent an entire afternoon at a nice 4s Ranch Park (which by the way these parks are like the Cadillacs of parks) and soaked up the sunshine.  The kids were wiped out from the day in the sun at the park that they slept from 630pm at night until 7 the next day which made it nice for the Easter Bunny to set up his stuff and relax.

The Easter Bunny left the kids a new bucket for playing in the sand, a few eggs with some candy and a new toy.

Easter was nice for us. Went to church in the morning which I love so much these days because the worship team/music is a rock concert and just fills us with love and joy, I love the music.  Then made our way to my sister's house in Scripps Ranch.  Ate an early dinner I guess you could call it, then went to Derek's parents house to visit with family over there for a little while.  Again, the kids were tired from a really long day and were tucked in bed early.

We've been on the go for nearly a week straight because of the holiday, and we have a regular babysitter that helped me a little bit this last week just so I could go run some errands alone. She's been great. Yesterday Bobby came down with a 101-102 fever and felt awful.  Today he woke up still with flushed red cheeks but no fever - hopefully he gets to feeling 100% soon.

Our little routine lately has turned into us spending a few hours at home in the morning so I can get chores done, water garden, workout, do some homework or tend to whatever the Company needs done, then we walk to Collier Park and spend some time there playing.  I notice now that we do this (walking to Collier Park) on a regular basis, we are burning lots of energy and are nice and tired by day's end so crawling into bed is easy.  Its kind of getting hard on me to keep up activities that require a lot of hauling of junk - my back has been killing me this pregnancy.
