Alright we are just stupid. I know we are, but when you meet Sadie you will see why you cant resist. A friend of Derek's bred his pure bred black lab with a pure bred yellow lab and had just a few puppies remaining to find homes, 2 black labs and 1 yellow lab. Literally at 6a.m. yesterday Derek asked if I'd like one, and I being stupid, said yes. First I wanted the yellow girl that remained, then switched to the black girl that remained. And not kidding, 3 hours later Derek came home with our new Sadie. She is really cute and for the most part is just a typical puppy, some pee accidents but she is only 2&1/2 months old. We bought a kennel this time though - to train and make my life easier since in about a month another addition is going to arrive in this house.
We took her swimming yesterday and she totally liked it! She didnt freak out trying to find a way out of the pool and swam a bit with me and the kids, it was so cool! Even though its adding to our chaos, she seems to give Rocky a bit of companionship which has helped to keep them both happy. I like that we have a kennel this time around so I can just put her in there and not worry about losing my favorite shoes when I leave the house. :)
