AHHHH This month has been crazy! I need a nap. I'm going to write some, then post pictures in a second post.
After the 4th of July things just went from normal to chaos around here. At the end of June I pulled the kids from LPLC because well, we are on one income and I was spending alot sending them to preschool when I dont have to. I'd like to again, but perhaps wait until the year before they start kindergarten. I'll reassess at the end of summer. However, at the end of June I was thinking "Great, how am I going to keep these little boogers happy and busy?" HAHAHAHAHAHAH We have been on the go nearly everyday!
Mid July we took a trip to Las Vegas, stayed at a wonderful place called "Tahiti Village", and stayed with my parents and my brother - my brother had a baby boy back in March so we were finally able to get our hands on him. ADORABLE! Do I miss having a baby? Yes, I do. (Crazy I know) Do I miss sleepless nights? HELL NO! LOL
After staying in Vegas for 4 days (exhausting with 2 little ones and we had a rough few nights of sleep since both kids shared a pull out sofa for sleep - BOO), the tuesday following coming back we went to Lake Perris for a day with the Roed's and our church. FUN! Oh holy cow we had a blast! Exhausted yet, AGAIN! LOL But all worth it since our little guys were able to tube with Daddy. Brooklyn enjoyed it more than Bobby. Yes, you read that right MORE THAN BOBBY! She was waving and laughing the whole time, I unfortunately didnt capture a picture of her with Derek, so next time.
Then basically everyday, if I dont first take the kids to the gym, at about 10-11am we head over to Mema Roed's house to swim. Its a SAUNA at our home since our AC is down right now with the remodel and let me tell you, I have never missed cold air more in my life! One afternoon Brooklyn was SO uncomfortable at like 7pm we jumped in the car for a 10 minute ride to cool off. AHHHHH Cannot wait for cooler weather or this damn AC to be back on. Hopefully soon, we can get the drywall in, and AC flowing.
Then one of our employees got married this past saturday. It was fun but I'm pretty sure Bobby was not feeling to well so we didnt stay long - 8pm. This past sunday for the first time in my little life Derek and I were invited on behalf of Ransom Brothers (local lumber house here in town) to attend the races in a private suite. AWESOME! AHHHHHH I love to gamble, love to eat, love to try new things so I was stoked! Every now and then during the races my heart ached - poor horses! Right before they race they receive a stimulant - no wonder they have such a giddy up in their running! One jockey actually got bucked off - and the horse TOOK OFF! He bolted around the track looking for a way out - how sad! LOL
Our nephew Elijah is in town from Washington so we see him daily, and he, along with my other nieces and nephews were over this afternoon (they just left to go swimming since Brooklyn is asleep at the moment and they all were getting hot & bored).
Summer has been crazy! This next weekend we have a birthday party for a couple of kids I know (lol :) ) and then the following weekend is a baby shower, followed by another visit to a friends house to play with horses, our anniversary, my stinky birthday ....
Oh yeah to top this month off, I had to have a TOOTH PULLED! You will see in some pictures how swollen my face is....awesome. All my other teeth fine, this one tooth! An implant...+2k. Oh boy.
Time is just FLYING - my head hurts.... lol pictures to follow :)
