We thought we would have a birthday party, but the new fence is not done and the yucky chain link is not a good look. :) We would like to purchase some furniture too, but Derek's truck broke down (needs a new motor) so we are having to put a down payment on a new truck for him. So, for now all of that is on hold. We spent some time with close friends which is all a 1 year old needs anyway.
Here's what little Tom is up to these days:
- He did take some steps the other day, and will do it here and there, nothing consistent though
- Claps, waves a little bit
- I hear mama all day long now
- A tooth on the bottom is finally popping through, as I think some molars are in the works too (sleep is sucking these days)
- Loves to be in the pool/water and splash. Loves it.
- Loves to be with Bobby & Brooklyn, and lets out some good belly laughs
Havent been to doc for check up yet - we go Monday.
