The 3 Amigos

Hello World. Just writing down some memories of all 3 kids as of late:

Bobby:
Bumped up to K/1 combo class with a brand new teacher (seriously she is fresh out of the credential program). She seems to be keeping Bobby engaged (no more in "yellow"for behavior and is showing behavior of a "model" student everyday which makes us proud:) ). I like that his class size is a bit smaller too.  He complains about homework but honestly, the packet is too easy for him.  The hardest part for him is the coloring. He HATES to color! LOL Writing his name, tracing etc., he doesnt mind, but if he has to color a picture - forget it. It will take him a week to finish it. LOL I've been teaching him sight words at home and he has these down: a, and, are, all, do, down, does, & the. I have a big list and made flash cards, he seems to like learning them every now and then.

This week, Bobby caught some little bug - he had a fever and complained of a terrible headache for 2 days. No vomit, no other symptoms. He's still doing jiu jitsu but he's had an off week I suppose, and had a really bad day yesterday. I am going to blame being tired and not feeling 100% for the shortcomings and complaints. Other than, he's doing so good and thriving in school.

Brooklyn:
Well, we switched to her a different dance studio and go on Wednesday mornings while everyone is in school but theres hardly any kids in it. She is begging to go back to the old studio and I think its because there are only 2 other girls with her in this class. She loves to use her tap shoes in the class, but she says the tumbling over there is no fun because there is no bar, no beam, no other toys to use. So, we are canceling. She fights it every week and I'm done with the fight. She enjoys preschool 3xs a week, feel like every time I pick her up after her day at school she has matured and changed just a bit more. Planning her 4th birthday party where Queen Elsa will make an appearance for all the kids. OVERWHELMING. EXPENSIVE. She hasnt had a birthday party yet, didnt have one for age 2 or 3, so I guess we are making up for it? LOL It should be fun, but its stressing me out.

Tommy:
Still not exclusively walking but working on it. I think he is saying "dog" these days, can point a finger for age 1 when I ask him how old he is. Lately he loves to point at pictures on the wall of the family and he smiles. He's beginning to crawl onto everything lately and loves to jump in his crib.

Overall we are all good, and just rolling with the days.

Have a nice weekend!!
